In 1924, prominent Los Angeles physician Walter Barlow began building his dream house in the foothills of the San Gabriel mountains. The Tuscan-style villa reflected the Barlows' love of Italy - The facade a two-thirds scale replica of the Villa Collazi near Florence which is said to have been designed by Michaelangelo. Pasadena architect Wallace Neff was commissioned to create the house that would be called the Villa del Sol d'Oro. The Villa has the elegant black and white tiled foyer with a curving stairway and wrought iron bannister that became classic Wallace Neff touches, And this could be your wedding venue.  It feels as if you have been transported back in time to italy.   Stepping threw those doors makes me feel like a world traveler when you are still in LA.   It really is a one of kind gem. Catherine from CCL weddings was the coordinator for this one.  Her vision and our florals made the dream wedding come to life for this bride.

Enjoy~
